This independent site is built to collect as little personal data as possible.

What we collect

We do not ask for or store your ID number, phone number, or banking details anywhere on this site. If you email us voluntarily, we receive the information you choose to include in that message and use it only to respond to you.

Analytics and advertising

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which guides are useful, and we may show advertising for non-government services. Third-party providers may set cookies in accordance with their own policies. We do not sell personal data.

Official actions happen off-site

Any grant action — checking status, updating banking details, appealing — happens on the official government portal, not here. When you follow a link to srd.sassa.gov.za you are subject to the South African government's own privacy terms.
